The services offered by Realtors can be as different as night and day. If you've done some searching, you've no doubt come across several Realtors' sites who encourage you to list with them. The problem is, they often don't tell you anything about what they'll actually do to sell your home, or how effective they are at selling.
So how is a person expected to choose a good Realtor? Well, one way is to invite a few Realtors to your home for "Listing Appointments" and then sit and listen as each of them "pitches" you for a couple hours each. If you're anything like us, though, the thought of listening to hours of sales pitches isn't very inviting.
